Ein eleganter, klassischer Olivton
Olive Colour™ 72 war zu seiner Zeit ein äußerst modischer Farbton, trotz seines hohen Preises. Die Schriftstellerin Mrs. Delany aus dem 18. Jahrhundert berichtete, dass sie ihr englisches Zimmer „eine Art Oliveton“ streichen ließ, um ihre Gemälde besser zur Geltung zu bringen. Dieser satte Grünton entfaltet seine volle Wirkung in Kombination mit einem tiefen Blau wie Dock Blue oder einem neutralen Ton wie Silent White.
